In fear of poaching BJP is moving their MLA's to porbandar

 The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has moved at least 17 MLAs of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly to Porbandar in Gujarat from Friday, August 14 before the start of the state assembly session, during the government of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, his former deputy Sachin Pilot  Had to face rebellion.

The shifting of the MPs began on Friday, when 12 of them were sent to Porbandar. Five more MLAs were sent on a chartered flight from Jaipur. BJP leaders said that the Congress was trying to contact its MLAs, especially from the tribal belt of Mewar, to win their support.

“We had an input that the Congress was contacting our MLAs through administrative officials in Udaipur division and other influential people in the area. So we decided that they should all stay in one place, where they could be protected. BJP state president Satish Poonia said. Another party leader said there was an attempt to contact "weak legislators".

BJP leader Gulab Chand Kataria said, "We alerted our MLAs [members of the Vidhan Sabha] before 6 August and told them to stick together." He said, 'Congress government is set to fall and the party is contacting our MLAs for support. So we have to protect our people.  "

The Gehlot camp has claimed the support of 101 MLAs in the 200-member assembly. Eighty-six Congress, 14 Independents, and MLAs of smaller parties supporting the ruling party are in two hotels in Jaisalmer. State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara denied the BJP's charge. He said, "There is no threat to our government and we are not involved in horse trading, which is a distinct domain of BJP."
